Trump will not rest until he and his billionaire cronies have COMPLETELY taken over our media.
After Trump declared war on NPR and PBS, Congress voted to claw back $1.1 billion for public media. PBS stations have been forced to close their doors. NPR is slashing jobs. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting had no choice but to shut down entirely.

But then a judge ruled that Trump’s executive order to defund NPR and PBS is unlawful and unenforceable. While the case is still working through the courts, one thing is clear: this fight is NOT over. We can still save NPR and PBS.
Now, some Republicans are saying they want to reverse the cuts to public rural and tribal stations in the next budget bill, giving us a crucial opportunity. But it’s going to take MASSIVE public pressure to save public media before it’s too late.
Tell Congress: Restore funding NOW to save our public media before it’s too late.
Across the country, towns and tribes rely on public media as the ONLY reliable bridge between isolated communities – like in Kotzebue, Alaska, where new reports show that lifeline is hanging by a thread.
It isn’t just Alaska. In Montana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and many states, tribal and rural radio is the hub of emergency info, culture-sharing, health alerts, and democratic engagement. And the MAJORITY of those stations are warning they’ll be forced to go off the air unless Congress reverses course, fast.
Now, some Republicans who voted for last year’s disastrous cuts are publicly scrambling to reverse themselves. That means a last-ditch Congressional fight is on.

We know the MAGA movement’s long game: If they can destroy public media, they can silence the last independent news – and hand FULL control over what we hear, see, and read to billionaire moguls. They've already taken over Twitter/X, Facebook, Amazon’s platforms, CBS, The Washington Post, and now CNN is next.
But we ARE NOT powerless. Congress is debating its next budget RIGHT NOW and can restore funding – IF we make enough noise. Last year, tens of thousands of us took action, donated, rallied outside of NPR HQ, and made it clear that we will not hand our media over to Trump and his billionaire cronies. Now we need to do it again.
Together, let’s force Congress to restore the federal funding public media depends on. Add your name: Tell Congress to SAVE public media NOW!
When we organize, we win.
Our Revolution
