Three hundred children have been killed in Gaza — one every single day — since a supposed ceasefire was announced last October. And Netanyahu just flatly rejected a newly announced Gaza Peace Plan, raising alarm that violence could grow.
But instead of using its leverage to demand that Netanyahu stop the violence, the House passed a version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that includes a dangerous escalation of U.S.-Israeli military ties, all but fusing the two militaries.
We cannot let Congress get away with it as violence rages — and the ONLY way to stop it is to overwhelm the Senate with opposition. With our Senators home on recess, now is the time to make it clear that the public will not stand by and allow Section 219 to become law.

The good news is there is a clear path to stopping this dangerous bill.
Last month, Democrats in the Senate blocked debate on the NDAA because of Trump’s war on Iran. But now pressure is mounting for the Senate to pass the NDAA and send over 1 TRILLION to the Pentagon — while also HARDWIRING U.S. military support to Israel.
Section 219 was written by lobbyists and Netanyahu himself. It would supersize weapons deals, surveillance tech, and intelligence sharing for years to come, stripping away even the limited Congressional checks that exist today.
The truth is we cannot allow Congress to supercharge the US/Israel military partnership — especially as Netanyahu’s government is escalating violence in Gaza and the West Bank and a growing majority of Americans oppose unconditional support for the Israeli government.
But now that the bill has passed the House, the ONLY way to stop it is by overwhelming the Senate with opposition. Let’s make it clear: not one dime of our money should go to enable Israel’s collective punishment, targeting of civilians, or expansion of illegal settlements.
