Just a few months ago, it seemed all but certain Trump and his MAGA cronies would keep control of the Senate after the midterms thanks to an incredibly difficult map. Now, pundits are calling it a toss-up, giving us a real shot at FLIPPING the Senate blue, but it’s going to take ALL of us to make it happen.
The road to victory is clear: Democrats must hold onto all their seats while also flipping at least four GOP-held seats. To help pull it off, Our Revolution is going BIG in Maine, Michigan, and Texas to activate the grassroots for working-class champions Abdul El-Sayed, Graham Platner, and James Talarico.
If we win these crucial seats, we won’t just be well positioned to take back the Senate. We’ll also send a slate of bold progressives to DC ready to take on the billionaire class and work alongside Bernie to bring REAL CHANGE.
That’s why right now, Our Revolution is launching our Summer Senate Surge, recruiting new organizers, supercharging our volunteer base, and setting up the infrastructure we need across these states to be able to WIN in November.
Maine is ground zero. Graham Platner is polling ahead of Susan Collins, giving us a REAL shot at kicking her out of the Senate after more than 29 years. But right now, his lead is shrinking and Collins is rolling in massive billionaire checks to drown out grassroots voices. We have to step up to fight back.
In Michigan, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed rose to prominence as Bernie’s unstoppable Medicare for All champion. But right now billionaire-backed super PACs are spending millions to lift up the establishment’s pick, Haley Stevens, and stop Abdul because they know he answers only to working people.
And Texas? Right now, bold progressive James Talarico LEADS Ken Paxton, the MAGA extremist indicted for bribery and abuse of power, in early polls. But Trump’s machine is pouring millions into Texas to prop up Paxton and silence working families.
Make no mistake: these are grassroots fights versus billionaire muscle.
We’re in an all-out sprint to reach 398,000 voters in Texas, 229,000 in Michigan, and 72,000 in Maine. Every $1 allows us to reach 6 voters, but our tried and tested model means we have to connect with voters MULTIPLE times – which means we start RIGHT NOW.
