The Senate is expected to vote soon on Trump's hardline "MAGA Warrior" pick to lead the Department of Homeland Security – and this is our moment to rise up and say NO. 
Sen. Markwayne Mullin is Trump's nominee to replace Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary. Mullin's record can't be ignored: the former MMA fighter has championed Trump's harshest immigration policies, enthusiastically backed mass deportations of undocumented people, and called for ending birthright citizenship. He had a rough hearing yesterday and may not get full Republican support – giving us an opportunity to stop his nomination RIGHT NOW if enough of us speak out. Will you send an urgent message to your senators and demand they vote against Markwayne Mullin's nomination now? Mullin hasn't just aligned himself with Trump's MAGA agenda – he's doubled down and run with it. Trump even called him a "MAGA Warrior" when nominating him for the post. It isn't just Democrats sounding the alarm. At his chaotic confirmation hearing yesterday, Senator Rand Paul confronted Mullin about past insults and openly questioned his temperament. 
Then, Mullin refused to answer basic questions about mysterious overseas trips and comments about the "smell" of war, even though he's never been in the military. All he would say publicly is that he was helping with "training." This is not the person we want with power over our borders, our civil liberties, and our communities. Trump expects his handpicked loyalists to rubber-stamp the administration's cruelest impulses – and he knows Mullin will do just that. We cannot let it stand.
