THIS WEEK Bernie is expected to bring his bill to a vote to stop the Trump administration from fast-tracking the sale of over 20,000 bombs – worth $660 million – to Israel. And it's up to ALL of us to stand with him.
Bernie is sounding the alarm over the horrific destruction Israel is unleashing – made possible with U.S. weapons – not just in Gaza and Iran, but in Lebanon and across the region. And now the Trump administration is fast tracking even MORE weapons – without even bothering to get Congressional approval. Enough.
We must not allow the US to continue enabling these horrors. Bernie filed a Joint Resolution of Disapproval (JRD) to block the sale – and now the vote is expected THIS WEEK.
Will you stand with Bernie and demand your members of Congress block this sale and stop Trump from sending 20,000 MORE bombs to Israel that will only bring more violence, more destruction, and more death?
Secretary of State Marco Rubio "waived" Congress's right to review this massive bomb sale, citing an "emergency." The deal includes 12,000 massive 1,000-pound bombs – the very types of bombs that have wiped out homes, clinics, and schools in Gaza.
The truth is each time the U.S. sends weapons, the death toll goes up. We have an obligation to say ENOUGH.
Trump has made it clear that Israel is in the driver's seat with this war, saying ending the war will be a "mutual" decision with Netanyahu. But Netanyahu's government will only stop if we stop enabling them. So it's up to all of us to demand Congress block this bomb sale and demand accountability.
Bernie has led these efforts before and gained more and more support each time. This time, we can make it clear: America cannot be Israel's supplier of an endless cycle of violence, death, and displacement, funded by our tax dollars.
