Let’s be clear: the system is completely broken, and overturning Citizens United is the long game, but it’s not happening soon. So in the meantime, we have work to do.
Thousands of Our Revolution supporters already pushed the DNC to pass a historic resolution last year to ban super PAC and corporate cash from funding our presidential primaries. The DNC promised an implementation plan, but August came and went. Now, we need to send a clear message to the corporate-backed establishment — the power of democratic voters won’t let you stop us.
Ken Martin has been championing this effort but needs to implement it in the next few weeks, well before presidential primaries kick off in 2028. And we can show the party that the grassroots will not let Big Money choose our next nominee.
