This week, a record-breaking 40 Democratic Senators voted YES on Bernie’s resolution to halt Trump's reckless sale of more bombs and bulldozers to Israel.
But instead of leading his party, Senate Minority Leader Schumer broke ranks and voted NO, siding with Republicans and standing against the overwhelming majority of the Democratic Party.
This isn’t leadership. And the truth is, the Democratic Party needs a leader willing to stand up when Americans demand an end to endless war and occupation when, finally, the moral center of the Senate is shifting towards real accountability.
This week’s vote is a clear signal that the Democratic Party is no longer willing to send blank checks to Israel. But until Schumer steps up or steps aside, that message is being blocked at the very top.

When Bernie introduced his resolution to block these latest arms sales of bombs and bulldozers, he called on Congress to FINALLY show backbone and moral clarity in the wake of horrific violence in Gaza and now Southern Lebanon.
But Schumer didn’t just miss the moment – he voted no. That’s a betrayal that will lead to more death and destruction in our name.
As Rep. Ro Khanna said after the vote, “Mr. Schumer, you are out of touch with the base of this party, and with your own caucus. Step aside.” He’s right. This is not the first time Schumer has sided with weapons makers and lobbyists over justice and peace.
The grassroots has had ENOUGH with the U.S. enabling Israel’s horrors in Gaza and now Lebanon. We are demanding more than hollow words. We want leaders who fight for peace and justice, not just party power and accumulation of favors for AIPAC and Raytheon.
When Democratic leadership fails, Our Revolution has ALWAYS come together to call them out. And we’re not stopping now.
